The new OSF Center for Health in Pekin is a step closer to seeing patients. OSF HealthCare did a blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new East Court Village Shopping Center on Court Street in Pekin yesterday.
The new facility will offer same day appointments with primary care providers. It also offers specialists in the area of orthopedics, urology, podiatry, rheumatology and general surgery. Lab services, EKGs and X-rays will also be available.
Dr. Mike Cruz is the President of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. He says the center is more than a doctor’s office. Cruz says it’s a hub in the community, providing services to people closer to home without a trip to the hospital.
The OSF Center for Health in Pekin opens its doors to patients Monday, April 17th. There’s also a public open house on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
