The City of Peoria is the finalist in a March Madness bracket -- of a different sort.
The organization Engaging Local Government Leaders is holding a national competition for “Most Beautiful City Hall.”
Peoria’s red sandstone, German Renaissance building is in the final four. It’s now head-to-head against Pasadena, Ca.’s city hall building, a Spanish Colonial domed structure.
At last check, Peoria’s city hall was down by about 1,000 votes. Residents can vote in the City Hall bracket competition here.
