Peoria Police have arrested a suspect in the first fatal shooting of 2017.
The victim of Monday's shooting has not yet been identified.
The PPD says an investigation led them to 29-year-old Frank D Flowers. Police say they arrested Flowers around 10:00pm Mon. on charges of first degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Jail records show Flowers has previously been arrested on criminal charges, including domestic battery.
