Thursday voters in the 18th Congressional District will cast ballots to fill a seat vacated by Aaron Schock. Republican State Senator Darin LaHood is voting Thursday morning with his family at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. Democratic candidate Rob Mellon will vote at the Knights of Columbus building in Quincy. The District usually sees heavy Republican voter turnout and covers Central and western Illinois.
