Former NAACP president to keynote Peoria MLK Luncheon

Former NAACP president Ben Jealous will keynote next year’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Luncheon in Peoria. Jealous was the youngest president in NAACP history working to outlaw racial profiling and ban the death penalty.  Jealous is also a Rhodes Scholar and spent 15 years as a journalist and community organizer.  The 24th annual luncheon is January 18th at noon.
