Report: Office of Cong. Ethics Reaching Out To Schock associates

The Office of Congressional Ethics is reaching out to associates of U.S. Congressman Aaron Schock.   That’s according to a report Monday from Politico.

The report says neither Schock’s staff nor the ethics office commented on the possible first sign of an investigation into Schock. The news comes after weeks of intense press scrutiny over Schock’s use of tax-payer funds for travel expenses.  A separate story Monday from the Associated Press also reports Schock used a shell company to benefit from real estate deals with political donors.
