The Peoria City Council approved reducing the fines for parking on snow routes by $200. City Manager Patrick Urich says changing the fine to $50 daily will help with collecting the parking fines:
“So this is a way to still mete out a certain level of punishment for parking on the snow routes while at the same time hopefully getting some compliance.”
