The Tri-County Long Term Recovery Center is kicking off the holiday season with an open house for those impacted by last year’s November 17th tornadoes.

Liz Pollack is the Supervisor of the LTR Center. She says they have free toys, bikes and Christmas decorations with the goal of making this a better Christmas than last year. “All they have to do it come to the office and basically we verify that they were impacted in a direct way by the tornado and then they can leave with gifts for Christmas or new things to decorate with.”

The Long Term Recovery Center exists to help meet the ongoing needs of those directly impacted by the the November 17th tornadoes. It's located in Suite 18 at the Washington Plaza.
