A water main break over the weekend led to the temporary closure of a Peoria grocery store. The break occurred around the area of Lake Avenue and Sheridan Road between five and six Sunday night. Water from the leak poured into Sheridan Village, causing HyVee to close. Illinois American Water crews repaired the 12-inch water main Monday morning. Residents living in the area were notified of a boil order when water service is returned. Motorists are asked to avoid Lake between Sheridan and University.
