The City of Peoria is looking for a development team to handle the city-owned parking lot next to the historic Madison Theater. The move follows failed negotiations between the city and the Comfort family through NXG Developments.
The City says it’s prepared to sell the parking lot for development without involvement from the Madison Theater property. But the city will also consider proposals that incorporate adjacent property. The deadline to submit a proposal is January 30, 2015. Proposals must include an offered purchase price, project details and qualifications of the development team
