Governor Pat Quinn is announcing nearly five-million-dollars in construction projects for the Tri-County Area. It’s part of the state’s ‘Illinois Jobs Now’ program. Woodford County will get nearly three-million-dollars to upgrade Highway One between Washburn and Low Point. Illinois Routes 29, 116 and 8 will be repaired from Camp Street to Fischer Road in Creve Coeur. Business Route 24 will be resurfaced near the railroad viaduct in Washington. In Peoria County, Route 6 will get repaired from south of Mossville Road to War Memorial.
