The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Hiring our Heroes job fair Friday at the Civic Center. The nationwide program helps veterans, military spouses and transitioning service members find employment. 35 employers are taking part in the event.
The fair includes a workshop on resume writing, interview skills and job search techniques.
Hiring our Heroes has hosted more than 750 job fairs nationwide resulting in more than 24,000 jobs for veterans and military spouses.
The workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. and the event runs to 12:30 p.m. Interested job seekers can register for the event through hiringourheroes.org.
