Peoria company recalling 21 lbs. of beef jerky

Raber’s packing company of Peoria is recalling 21 pounds of its beef jerky. It’s being recalled because state inspectors found the jerky was produced without using a required process that limits biological and chemical risks.  The meat was produced on July 2nd and sold in the Peoria area. It was sold in 25-ounce bags labeled ‘Grand Champion Raber’s Original beef Jerky’ with a code of 192.  The state has not received any reports of illness from anyone consuming the product
