Heather Young returns as a familiar face to Manual Academy for the upcoming school year.
Young begins her new position as principal July 1. She got her start with the district 15 years ago as a nurse at Manual. Young replaces current Manual principal Taunya Jenkins. Jenkins is now the district’s Family and Community Coordinator.
Young began her teaching and administrative career at Manual in 2005. She leaves her position as principal of Hines Primary School.
