McCuskey appointed to fill vacancy in 10th Judicial Circuit

A retired federal judge will fill an upcoming vacancy in the 10th Judicial Circuit. The Illinois Supreme Court has assigned Michael McCuskey to take the post in Marshall County after Judge Kevin Galley retires next month. McCuskey was first elected to the Marshall County seat in 1988. He was then elected to the Illinois Appellate Court two years later before getting appointed to the federal bench in 1998.  McCusky’s appointment lasts until December 2016, when the position is up for election.
