Peoria Police, the Multi-County Enforcement Group and the Drug Enforcement Administration targeted the so-called McKnight Drug Trafficking Organization for distributing hundreds of grams of heroin throughout the city.

Federal arrested warrants were issued for six people as part of the investigation. All were arrested Thursday following searches at five locations. They include 38-year old Marco McKnight, 37-year old Adrian McKnight, 41-year old Antonio Powell, 20-year old Jatuan Stone, 40-year old Adrian Sargent, and 28-year old Lamar Jackson. Another man, 37-year old Adrian Maddox, was arrested for weapon possession by a felon.
