CityLink is offering bus service on Sundays for the first time starting June 8th. The Greater Peoria Mass Transit District Board approved the move at its meeting Monday.
CityLink will run a total of nine routes in Peoria on Sundays as opposed to the 22 routes that run Monday through Friday. CityLink will also offer on-demand para-transit service on Sundays. The buses will run every hour-and-fifteen minutes starting at 8:15 in the morning to 7:30 in the evening.
The new Sunday service will cost one-point-six-million-dollars annually.
