Easter Seals receives specialty accreditation

Peoria-Bloomington Easter Seals has received a specialty accreditation for its Autism Program. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities is granting the status for three years.

The designation covers Easter Seals Behavior Services and Support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Easter Seals already has held the designation for its Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Pediatric Specialty Program for 30 years. The accreditation is thought to represent the highest designation in the specialty area of care.
