Main Street from University to Elmwood will be closed to all traffic starting Friday. It’s expected to last for one week while crews work on installing a water main at the Main and University intersection. Current lane closures on southbound University remain in effect.
But Peoria City Engineer Scott Reeise says both lanes on southbound University are set to re-open this Monday.
