A former Caterpillar CEO and his wife are helping Eureka College better support students and faculty. Glen and Polly Barton donated an undisclosed amount of money to establish the Barton Fund.
The fund will annually support more than 20 mentorships for students and scholarships for eight students who volunteer at Quest Charter Academy in Peoria. The fund will also support a fellowship program for faculty preparing students for careers in Pre-K through 12th grade education.
Glen Barton is a member of the Eureka College Board of Trustees and the Ronald Reagan Society.
