Community meetings on tornado recovery efforts have been happening in Washington, Illinois since the first days after the massive tornado ripped through the town November 17, 2013. The meeting last night in the Five Points Washington Community Center offered an update on city recovery efforts and allowed residents to share information. But something more was offered last night. Peoria Public Radio’s Tanya Koonce reports most at the meeting walked away with a five hundred dollar visa gift card:
