Former Charter Oak Principal John Wetterauer is requesting a leave of absence for the rest of the school year.
The District 150 primary School principal was placed on “special assignment” last week amid an investigation into testing discrepancies. That means he was to start at another building with the same pay but having different duties. District 150 spokesman Chris Coplan says that the school board will consider Wetterauer's request at a future meeting.
