East Peoria residents in need of building permits can obtain them at a new location. Building permits are now issued at the city’s Department of Buildings and Property at the new office in the Levee District. The facility is located across the street from Springfield Electric and the Costco gas station. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 until 5.
