PRM collecting stories from tornado victims

Area residents impacted by the November 17th tornados will get a chance to share their stories at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.

The facility is offering a free night of access to victims of the storm, first responders, volunteers, and their families. They are all then encouraged to tell their stories of survival, response and recovery. The discussions can be recorded or shared with small staff-facilitated groups.

The museum plans to collect stories, photos, and videos throughout the year for a special event on the first anniversary of the tornado.

The free night for tornado victims, first responders, volunteers and their families is Monday from 4 to 7. All galleries will be open for viewing. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
