There are no contested primary races for Peoria County Board seats up for re-election this spring. Monday was the deadline to file nominating petitions on the 18-member board.
However two Board seats will be contested in the general election next year. Republican challenger Zachary Olyer is vying for the seat against Democratic incumbent Allen Mayer in District six. Also Democratic candidate Dick Burns is challenging Republican Brad Harding in District
