Peoria police are investigating another home invasion on the northwest side of the city. The latest incident happened early Friday morning, just before 4:30. Police say the break-in occurred at 3107 West Capitol Drive, just south of Willow Knolls Drive.
They say suspects were able to access the home through an unlocked door, tied up the residents, then stole various items including a vehicle. The car was later recovered.
The home invasion follows similar incidents in recent weeks that have occurred on the northwest side of town, including at Weaver Ridge and Chadwick Estates.
