Il Manufacturing Extension Center in Peoria receives federal money

The Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center in Peoria is getting federal funding to help make small and mid-sized manufacturing firms more competitive. More than 700-thousand-dollars is coming from the National Institute of Standards and Technology.  The goal is to help the Peoria Center create jobs and boost profits for area manufacturers.  U.S. Congresswoman Cheri Bustos announced the funding.
