The exiled daughter of former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro is speaking at Eureka College Thursday. Alina Fernandez will discuss her experiences of growing up among the elite of Cuban Society and her autobiography called “Castro’s Daughter: An Exile’s Memoir of Cuba.”

Fernandez fled Cuba in 1993 after rebelling against the political climate in the country. Her speaking event is Thursday evening at 7:30 at the Cerf Center. Tickets are five dollars and can be purchased by contacting Eureka College’s Office of Student Programs and Services.
