Peoria School District 150 is holding its first Parent University event Thursday. The meeting starts with an open forum with Superintendent Grenita Lathan and workshops including parental involvement, mental health awareness, and new national education requirements. The Parent University event runs from 5 to 8:30 at Mark Bills Middle School.
