Tickets available to see President speak in Galesburg

President Barack Obama is set to speak at Knox College when he visits Galesburg this week. Obama will kick off a series of speeches laying out his vision for rebuilding the economy to grow the middle class. The President’s visit is Wednesday.

This will be the third time Obama will visit Knox College. He also spoke there after receiving the Democratic nomination to run for U.S. Senate in 2004. He then gave the commencement speech at the school in 2005 after being elected to the Senate. This is also the second time Obama has visited Galesburg as President.

A limited number of tickets will be available to the public for Obama’s speech. They will be available on a first come, first served basis starting at 1:00 at Knox College’s Office of Communications. Tickets are limited to one per person and are free of charge.
