The Peoria Police Department is inviting residents to get to know them better with two neighborhood picnics Saturday. One is at the former Blaine Sumner school starting at 11 a.m. The second picnic is at the East Bluff Community Center starting at 1 p.m. Both have hot dogs, chips and soda on the menu.
