W.D. Boyce Council hosting event at Peoria Riverfront Museum

W.D. Boyce Council

The W.D. Boyce Council is hosting a special fundraiser at the Peoria Riverfront Museum Sunday. The goal is to help raise money for a new Pool Shower House at the Ingersoll Scout Reservation in London Mills.
The Scouts are hosting a movie premier at the museum featuring area Scouts.  The event is meant to raise money to replace the run-down pool house. The film is called “Blowin’ up the Shower House” and portrays the fictional demolition of the structure.
The film price is an all-access pass to all Museum exhibits.
Scouts can also complete badge requirements for astronomy, science and art at the event from 1-4 p.m. Scouts, volunteers and families can purchase tickets online at www.wdboyce.org/PremierNight.
