Caterpillar says the third party ticket vendor for its visitor’s center has experienced a security breach. That has the potential to impact those who’ve purchased tickets to Cat’s Visitors Center online or at the box-office. It does not include Caterpillar’s adjacent Merchandise Center or the company’s systems or hardware.
The security breach for Visitors Center ticket sales involved a hacker who accessed Vendini’s system that holds customer’s personal and credit card data. Vendini is working with federal law enforcement officials. It’s also working with cyber security experts to implement enhanced security.
