Morton High School was under lockdown today for about an hour following a written threat of violence. The hard lockdown was put into effect at 10:20 this morning. The school transitioned to a soft lockdown by 11 and moved to an all-clear level by 11:20 when the schedule resumed as normal. A student is in custody and Morton Police continue to investigate.
