Peoria has a new city engineer. Scott Reeise will take on the position next month. He’s been a civil engineer with the city’s Public Works Department for nine-and-a-half years. In that role, he’s led a number of capital projects in Peoria. Those include improvements to Northmoor Road and the Warehouse and Washington Street projects.
Reeise will now be responsible for improving development standards in the city, planning for new infrastructure and promoting the maintenance of existing infrastructure. He will supervise a staff of seven engineers and technicians.
