Eureka College Presents "Pippin" This Weekend

This week, we're talking with Marty Lynch, about Eureka College's production of the musical "Pippin." It's the story of a young man, seeking to find his place in the world -- his "Corner of the Sky." The musical was the result of a collaboration between Stephen Schwartz (the creator of "Godspell" and "Wicked") and legendary choreographer Bob Fosse.

Like all of Eureka's production, the cast draws from the Eureka student body, the larger community, and performers from outside Eureka. Lynch says that this allows their students to work with a larger pool of other performers, which better prepares them for the theatrical experiences they'll have after college.

"Pippin" continues tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday in the Pritchard Theatre at Eureka College.
