Peoria Police have launched a homicide investigation for what officers describe as a suspicious death.
Police said they responded to a residence in the 500 block of East Seneca Place in the East Bluff on Monday for a welfare check on someone inside. Officers said they found the body of an adult male inside the residence.
Authorities said the Peoria County Coroner would determine the cause and manner of death. The person’s identity has not been released.
