An 82-year-old woman is dead after an accident with her vehicle in her driveway in Pekin, authorities said.
A neighbor reported the incident around 6:38 p.m. Tuesday, said Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley. He did not provide an address.
The 82-year-old, whose name hasn't been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. She encountered fatal injuries after an accident involving her vehicle in her driveway, Hanley said.
An autopsy is set for Wednesday.
This case remains under investigation by Pekin Police and the coroner’s office.
