After a canceled move to the Peoria Riverfront, the Summer Camp Music Festival is returning to Chillicothe's Three Sisters Park next year.
The annual celebration traditionally featured three days of camping, vendors and live music.
Summer Camp has had a tumultuous post-COVID era, including a rebrand to Solshine Reverie, a scaling down of operations and the canceled plan to remove the camping and take the show to the riverfront.
In a post on the Summer Camp Music Festival Facebook page, a spokesperson announced the full return of the festival May 22-24, 2026.
“After an amazing year in the daydream of Solshine Reverie – and a year off to rest and prepare – we are ready to come back with an update and improved version of the experience we’ve all grown to love,” the post reads.
Next year will mark 25 years of the festival’s run in Chillicothe, a milestone in a largely positive history with the Central Illinois community.
Presales of a three-day pass to the festival start Monday.
