The new Chicago Sports Network has quietly became available on over-the-air television on WHOI-TV.

The network carries Chicago White Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks games. WHOI is broadcasting the network on digital subnet 19.4. CHSN in October announced their programming would be coming to WHOI in the future.

The channel is also carried via DirecTV, U-Verse, and Astound. But it hasn't yet appeared on Comcast as talks between the cable provider and sports network continue. Comcast's NBC Sports Chicago folded after the teams left the channel to form a new network.

WHOI is a Sinclair Broadcasting-owned station that was once the home of ABC programming in the Peoria-Bloomington market. ABC shifted over to channel 25.2 in 2016. WEEK-TV's parent company formally took over the network affiliation after managing the station's operations on its former channel for several years.

Tim was the News Director at WCBU Peoria Public Radio. He left the station in 2025.
