Out and About in Greater Peoria: Five Points Friday concert, India Fest and crafting

Listen: The last Five Points Friday music series of the year is tonight. The event starts at 5 p.m. with food trucks and kids' activities, including a bounce house, glow bracelets and a giant balloon giveaway. Vinyl Tap takes the stage at 6 p.m. There will also be a car show with the Central Illinois Cruisers. This event is free.

Dance: India Fest is back Saturday at the Peoria RiverFront. The fest will feature live music, dance performances and traditional Indian music. Food vendors will serve Indian cuisine. Activities include arts and crafts, rangoli, yoga demonstrations and dance lessons. The fest goes from 4 to 9 p.m. Tickets at the door cost $12 for adults and $9 for kids.

Craft: Learn a new skill at DIY Studio & Bar at their Sunday Funday Craft & Cocktails. Guests get to pick from a variety of projects ranging from painting to macrame to wood art. All materials, tools and instructions will be provided. Drink a cocktail or mocktail while you work on your project. This event starts at 1 p.m. and tickets cost $40.
