Two people are dead after a motorcycle and pickup collided on Saturday night in Rome.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said the crash happened just before 10 p.m. at Route 29 and Knox Street.
Floyd Henderson, 58, and his wife Leah, 51, both of Chillicothe, were pronounced dead at the scene. The couple was on the motorcycle.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday. Toxicology is pending. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Illinois State Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
