Peoria police have arrested a suspect in an August 2023 homicide.
According to a release from the Peoria Police Department, 24-year-old Rashaard Nunn was taken into custody Tuesday after police executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1400 block of West Glen Avenue.
Nunn was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 31, 2023 shooting death of Damar Watts, 19, of Peoria. Nunn was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
