An annual Peoria tradition is gearing up for another year of food and fellowship.

The Itoo Society's 57th annual Shish-ka-bob is happening on June 30.

Annie Spears says proceeds will help families in Lebanon.

"The Itoo Society is an organization in Peoria that really just helps with the families that have immigrated over here from Aitou, Lebanon and also helps give back to the families that are still in Aitou, Lebanon with funding for their medicines and stuff over there," she said.

This year's Shish-ka-bob features staples like cabbage rolls and Lebanese salad, as well as entertainment and games.

Tickets are $18. Click here for more information.
