OSF HealthCare president dies after 5-year cancer battle

The president of the OSF HealthCare System has died after a five-year battle with ovarian and uterine cancer.

Sister Diane Marie McGrew died early Sunday morning at age 57. McGrew joined the Sisters of the Third Order of Saint Francis in 1988 and was appointed president of OSF HealthCare in 2006.

CEO Bob Sehring says McGrew's leadership has guided OSF through numerous challenges and successes.

Visitation is set for 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Motherhouse in East Peoria, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by burial at the cemetery on the Motherhouse grounds.
