Youth Music Illinois prepares for a jazzy collaboration with The BraziLionaires

On this week's episode of Out and About, Dr. Mae Gilliland Wright of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois dives into a jazzy collaboration between Youth Music Illinois and the celebrated Nashville-based band The BraziLionaires taking place May 18 at the Bertha Frank Performing Arts Center in Morton.

Joining her in the studio are YMI's executive director Lidia Riley and BraziLionaires' guitarist and vocalist Rico Wayne Johnson. They chat about the original compositions featured in the upcoming concert, what it has been like to have talented local students collaborate with professional musicians and the concert experience itself.
