A 34-year-old Pekin man is dead after a one-vehicle crash in Peoria County.
Sheriff's deputies responded to Airport and Tuscarora roads just after 6 p.m. Saturday. Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood pronounced Steven Wright dead at the scene.
Deputies said Wright's vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Harwood said he suffered multiple blunt force injuries in the crash and died instantly.
