Out and About in Greater Peoria: 'The Aliens,' a holiday tea party and the Peoria Train Fair

"The Aliens:" This weekend, check out "The Aliens" at Corn Stock Theatre. The production features two disillusioned millennials who loiter behind a Vermont coffee shop and follows their journey teaching a lonely high school student everything they know about life, music and art. Directed by WCBU's Jody Holtz, it follows the three young men as they grapple with friendship, love and death.

Tea, ballet and the Nutcracker: Tomorrow, The Sugar Plum Fairy would be honored for you to attend her exquisite tea party in the Land of Sweets this holiday season! Each ticket includes tea time, as well as crafts & activities, ballet instruction and a performance of the Nutcracker story. Be sure to reserve your tickets for this unique event.

All Aboard!: The Peoria Train Fair returns to the Illinois Central College East Peoria campus on Sunday, November 19. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is sponsored by Pekin’s River City Model Railroad Club. Admission is just $3 for adults. Kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be available. Whether you are a model railroad enthusiast, train buff or just someone who is looking for unique holiday gifts, there will be something for everybody.
