Ernie's Dairy Dream is again on the market.
The South Peoria sandwich and ice cream shop has operated on and off at the corner of Leland and Jefferson for more than 60 years. The eatery most recently reopened in 2021 after closing in 2019.
The sale includes the property, equipment, name, and Ernie's secret recipes. The eatery's staples are Castleburgers, a loose-meat sandwich; fried chicken, and potato wedges.
The business is listed for just under $125,000, sold in as-is condition.
