Out and About in Greater Peoria: Titanic at Corn Stock Theatre, a book sale and RuPaul's Drag Race

Enjoy a weekend show: Corn Stock Theatre presents: Titanic. Epic and majestic, with moments of heartbreaking intimacy,  Titanic captures the triumph and tragedy of the hopeful passengers on the ill-fated ship of dreams. Catch this show at 7:30 p.m. tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Adult tickets are $25. Ticket price for college age and younger are $20.

Find your newest read: Book worms can head to I Know You Like A Book, which is sadly closing after 18 years. The store is running a 40% off sale on all books and merchandise on Aug. 5 and Aug. 12. Head to their location at 4707 N Prospect Rd in Peoria Heights to find your newest read. The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and part of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

RuPaul's Drag Race comes to Peoria: RuPaul's Drag Race Werq the World Tour is coming to the Peoria Civic Center at 8 p.m. this Sunday. Perception is not reality... Asia O’Hara, Daya Betty, Jorgeous, Kandy Muse, Naomi Smalls, Plastique and select finalists from Season 15 are unknowingly trapped in the Netwerq.
